Camera Locations
The purpose of this map, produced using Google mapping, is to show all safety camera sites in the Strathclyde area. It is simple to zoom in and out of this map and to move around by clicking and dragging on the map.
This list shows all sites within each of the Council areas of the Strathclyde Safety Camera Partnership. Some of these sites may be the responsibility of Transport Scotland if situated on a Trunk Road.
Safety cameras in Strathclyde fall into three categories, speed enforcement, red light enforcement and a combination of both. The Partnership services 131 camera sites throughout the West of Scotland area. Strathclyde Safety Camera Partnership operates five types of camera systems:
From time to time the safety camera partnership is asked by the highways authorities to assist with speed enforcement at roadworks where there are seen to be safety hazards requiring traffic to be slowed down for road safety.
