Strathclyde Safety Camera Partnership comprises Strathclyde Police, the 12 local authorities in the Strathclyde Police area and Transport Scotland, the Scottish Government's agency responsible for the trunk road network.
There are eight safety camera partnerships operating in Scotland, each based in a police force area and involving all local authorities on the Scottish mainland.
All safety camera partnerships in Scotland are funded by and operate under the rules and guidelines of the Scottish Safety Camera Programme, part of the Justice and Community Safety department of the Scottish Government.
Strathclyde Safety Camera Partnership works towards the same road safety goals and in association with many other bodies throughout Scotland and the UK as whole. Some of these are public bodies and others are charities or representative organisations.
