SEATBELTS - If your passenger is over 14 it is their responsibility to wear a seatbelt, but remember that if you are in front and they are sitting behind you then your life is in danger.

Regulations introduced in September 2006 require that children up to 135cm (4ft 5 inches) in height or up to 12 years of age - whichever comes first - must use the correct type of child seat or booster seat. Over that height or age, adult seatbelts must be used.

Other Partnerships

There are eight safety camera partnerships operating in Scotland, each based in a police force area and involving all local authorities on the Scottish mainland.

All safety camera partnerships in Scotland are funded by and operate under the rules and guidelines of the Scottish Safety Camera Programme, part of the Justice and Community Safety department of the Scottish Government.
