Average speed cameras on A80 roadworks

An ’average speed’ safety camera system is being installed throughout the 11 kilometre roadworks upgrade of the A80 between Mollinsburn and Haggs. The system, which will be live from late October 2009 for the duration of the project, will discourage drivers from exceeding the temporary speed limit of 40mph which has been imposed for the safety of roadworkers and all road users.
