M8 ROADWORKS COMPLETE 16 AUGUST 2007
The major re-surfacing project on the M8 to the west of the Kingston Bridge in Glasgow has been completed on schedule. The average speed safety camera system which was set up to enforce the temporary 40mph speed limit through the roadworks is no longer in operation. However, it will take the contractors several days to remove the camera poles from the roadside.
