REDUCED SPEED LIMIT ON A77 from 10 March 2008
Between Bogend Toll and the Dutch House roundabout, the speed limit will be reduced for road safety reasons to 50mph. Transport Scotland has announced that the reduction will come into effect on Monday, 10 March 2008.
Partnership manager, Gladys Cadden, commented: We hope that drivers will observe the new limit which has been put in place to make the road safer for all users. There has been high compliance with speed limits since the SPECS average speed camera system was installed and it is our hope that this will continue. An extensive advertising campaign is planned to ensure that drivers get message and stay within the law.
