Road safety in the West of Scotland

All of the 12 local authorities in the region along with Strathclyde Police work together to improve safety on our roads under the banner of Road Safety West of Scotland. The Forum promotes road safety awareness through high profile advertising campaigns and sets up working groups to share best practice among the roads authorities in on-road safety measures.

Membership of the Strathclyde Safety Camera Partnership is a mirror of the Road Safety West of Scotland and a number of staff are actively involved in both initiatives, which are closely aligned in action.
